Grabouw 12h Omi Dam
OVERVIEW & FACTS
The Grabouw 12hr Omi Dam MTB Race is meant to be a good work out and a great party.
The race venue is Grabouw Country Club situated next to the Eikenhof Dam. The Country Club offers great amenities,
a large stoep, overlooking the Oval Cricket ground which will be the Race Village, with the route running via
the Village. The Cricket Ground will serve as a campsite / race village where participants can pitch their own tents.
The race starts at 10h00 on Saturday morning and finishes at 22h00 the evening. The entry fee includes a lunch burger
and beer combo. Fires will be lit from 20h00 where riders can do their bring and braai rituals. The route is a 10km
and 100m climbing circular route, running around the Eikenhof Dam. Entry options are solo/ individual or teams of 2
or 4 x riders, plus additional categories; men, women or mixed. Wildekrans Wines will sell their wines and sponsor
the prizes.
